Golf Day returns to Warwickshire

This year’s Highways Magazine Golf Day will once again take place at Whitefields Golf Course, Warwickshire.

The 17th annual Golf Day will be held on Thursday 2 July 2015 with money raised at the event going to construction industry charity, the Lighthouse Club.

Whitefields is a testing 6,289 yards and, with a par of 71, is a genuine challenge for golfers of all handicaps. The most striking feature is Draycote Water which laps the 13th hole. The signature hole – ‘Curlie’s Corner’ – has no room for error; 184 yards from the medal tee, the green is surrounded by water. While the 15th is 257 yards par four and aptly named ‘Temptation’ as it has water on both sides of the hole.

The day includes:

  • Coffee & bacon rolls on arrival
  • A round of golf
  • Three course seated dinner
  • Presentation with great prizes.
