Churchill and PTA UK launch campaign for more Lollipoppers

Churchill Insurance and the national Parent Teachers Association (PTA UK) are teaming up to try and improve highways safety by increasing the number of lollipop men and women helping schoolchildren cross the road.

There are around 20,000 Lollipoppers but Churchill research has found that nearly a third of parents are aware of Lollipoppers being removed.

The insurance group wants to reverse that trend and, in conjunction with PTA UK and actor Robert Webb, has launched a campaign to recruit 50 lollipop men or women.

Churchill is asking for nominations for schools, which can be made here.
