A road marking crew from WJ featured on the BBC’s One Show last week.
Presenter Dom Littlewood paid a visit to WJ at their Milton Keynes depot and manufacturing facility and followed a crew as they marked centre lines within a closed road in Northamptonshire.
When asked by the BBC reporter, crew member Dan Thurston was not enamoured with the idea that removing white lines from roads would enhance road safety; as it is his job to provide road safety markings and not just ‘white lines’.
During the segment on the show, Thurston expressed the important role that road markings play in helping to improve road safety and conveyed pride in the job that he does.
