Glasdon UK Ltd

Glasdon are leading designers and manufacturers of road safety equipment used extensively throughout the UK on Local Authority Highways, Local Authority Street Lighting and trunk road schemes. Glasdon have over 60 years’ experience working directly with highways professionals and the core of their business is to provide innovative long-lasting, quality products to meet their customers’ needs.

The Glasdon range includes traffic calming and hazard marking bollards, cycle route bollards, retroreflective self-righting bollards, LED traffic bollards, LED sign lights, Gateways, chevron systems and verge marker posts. When independently tested to BSEN 12767:2019 most products meet the highest performance standard NE4/100.

For road and traffic bollards where illumination remains a statutory requirement, we offer a number of lighting options. Our LED technology reduces energy consumption, minimises running costs and carbon footprint. The LEDs have a minimum life span of 50,000 hours, equating to approximately 10 years when operated with the built-in Photocell or with a CMS device. Also included in the range is the smart ‘zero energy’ Solar Signmaster™ Bollard which offers increased visibility at night without direct mains electricity.

Glasdon products are manufactured from a range of higher performance materials and undergo stringent checks to ensure durability and best value. Glasdon has ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 accreditation, underlining their commitment to quality.
