Eurovia Specialist Treatments (EST) delivers advanced and effective solutions to improve and renew the surfaces of roads, footways, airfields and car parks nationally. Offering a bespoke service, EST prides itself on tailoring solutions to client’s individual needs and brings innovative and improved technologies to the market. Products offered by EST include:
Surface Dressing: as one of the most cost effective road surface treatments, surface dressing prolongs the life of a road surface, increases skid resistance and creates a seal, prevents water from penetrating it, and prolonging the life of the carriageway. Quick and easy to apply, it normally requires temporary road closures and is ready for traffic immediately, reducing network delays.
Micro surfacing with Gripfibre®: ideal for both urban and rural roads where a hard wearing and longer lasting surface is required, this fast, effective and economical surface preserves and protects worn carriageways. Improving skid resistance, it also fills in any small imperfections.
Gripseal®: introduced to the UK market in 2014, Gripseal® brings together the benefits of surface dressing together with Gripfibre®. Gripseal® seals the road surface from water ingress, limits the need for loose aggregates (chippings) and provides a low noise skid resistant finish. As a cold technology alternative to thin surfacing systems, a large volume can be completed daily, offering both economic and environmental benefits.
High Friction Surfacing: EST offers cold machine applied high friction surfacing, as well as manual hot applied high friction surfacing. Cold machine applied high friction surfacing can be applied in locations with high volumes of traffic where the surfaces demand a product gives longevity. Applied quicker than hot applied, it helps reduce disruption during construction phase and provides a safer working environment.
Decorative Surfacing: When something more aesthetically pleasing is required, EST offers a wide-range of coloured treatments to suit any location, including heritage areas, housing developments and public realm schemes.
Flexiplast: a flexible, waterproof, stress absorbing membrane designed to seal the surface and inhibit reflective cracking in subsequently laid asphalt layers on concrete roads and bridge decks.
Footway Surfacing: a range of slurry seals and modified micro surfacing specifically for use on footways. Materials are recyclable and can be developed for use on local community projects.
